Our Story

Mantarraya was created in New York City in 2016 by two longtime friends Anjie and Maria, who shared the same passion for traveling and reaching out to nature for inspiration.

This jewelry project was born out of the desire to share the journey of self-discovery and grew into something much bigger.

In 2018 we decided to take this project to a very special place in our hearts – Lisbon, Portugal. The all year round natural sunlight of the city is so unique and has definitely hugely inspired our jewelry designs.

Moving from New York to Lisbon has shaped the vision of Mantarraya and turned our dream of sharing it into reality.
